Admission to the Technical University of Mombasa is competitive and based on merit. For certain courses, specific subjects may also be taken into consideration - always confirm the cluster requirements for your chosen programme.
01 Certificate
Minimum of Mean Grade D+ in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E) or equivalent qualifications.
02 Diploma
Minimum of Mean Grade C- in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E) or equivalent qualifications.
03 Undergraduate
Minimum of Mean Grade C+ in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E) or equivalent qualifications.
04 Postgraduate - Master's
A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of Second Class Honours Upper Division or its equivalent in the relevant field from a recognized institution.
05 Postgraduate - Doctoral
A Master's degree from a recognized institution in a relevant field.
