The University Council

The University Council is the supreme governing body of the Technical University of Mombasa, responsible for overall policy, strategic direction and the stewardship of University resources. Constituted under the Universities Act, the Council is led by a Chairperson appointed by the Cabinet Secretary.

The Council approves the strategic plan, budgets and major policies, and provides oversight to ensure transparency, accountability and sound governance.
